As a person with cerebral palsy, I think it's very important to draw attention to systems that can be improved wherever you are.

Design Solution
For this project, I designed a poster-size infographic on voter accessibility for individuals with disabilities can be an impactful way to raise awareness and promote inclusivity in the electoral process. By utilizing Adobe Illustrator, I have created a visually engaging design that highlights the differences in voter turnouts between 2016 and 2020 for both disabled and non-disabled populations.
This infographic employs a clean and accessible layout, employing contrasting colors and clear typography to ensure readability for all users. The poster presents key statistics and data, comparing the voter participation rates of individuals with disabilities against those without disabilities in the two election years. The information is presented in a visually compelling manner, using graphs, charts, and icons to convey the message effectively. Moreover, recognizing the importance of mobile accessibility, I have also designed a mobile version of the infographic. This version is broken down into separate screens, optimizing the content for smaller devices while maintaining the same visual appeal and data representation as the poster version.
By visualizing the disparity in voter turnouts between individuals with and without disabilities, this infographic aims to shed light on the challenges faced by disabled voters and advocate for improved accessibility measures. It serves as a powerful tool to inform and inspire individuals, policymakers, and organizations to take action towards creating a more inclusive electoral system for everyone.
